through administrative excellence by the power of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus Our Lord.                


Purpose Statement

To provide the Golden Triangle with an inclusive Christocentric ministry that effectively meets the needs of the total person; presenting the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in a clear, contemporary, contexualized manner to all.  So that persons might encounter the love of God in such a way that it would cause providential purpose to be revealed, pertinent potential to be released, and Divine power to be received; changing the lives of people who will ultimately change the world.



John R. Adolph.jpgDr. John Robert "Bobby" Adolph was born April 9, 1966 in Houston, Texas. He is the son of Pastor Seymour V. Adolph Sr. and the late Sis. Barbara Adolph. He attended East Houston Elementary School, Kirby Middle School and Smiley Senior High School. In 1984 he entered Texas Southern University on a full scholarship and received a BBA Degree in December 1989. Pastor Adolph is married to the love of his live, Dorrie Eileen.  And they are the proud parents of their two beautiful children, Sumone and Jonathan.                     

In April 1992, God called John to preach and proclaim the word of God. He was licensed on May 31, 1992 and ordained in October 1995 at New Hope Baptist Church, Houston, Texas by his father Reverend Seymour V. Adolph, Sr. who serves as pastor.  John entered theological seminary at Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia where he received his Master of Divinity Degree.                                                 

In 1996, through the providential power of God, the members at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas called Rev. John R. Adolph as their undershepherd and pastor.  After being led by the Holy Spirit, he accepted the call and began his pastorate on Sunday, May 5, 1996.  In September 1996 his mentor, Dr. William L. Sheals, pastor of Hopewell Baptist Church of Norcross, GA, installed him as pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. /files/Photo Images/Pastor Photos/Lady Adolph.jpg Pastor Adolph has been the proud Pastor of Antioch for the last 13 years.     

In his perpetual pursuit to know more about the ministry and serving humanity for the cause of Christ, Pastor Adolph began his studies to pursue a doctorate degree in the ministry.  In May 1999, he completed his quest of Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Through his impeccable leadership, perseverance and dedication, the membership of the Church has grown to over 7,000 members and increases every Sunday.                                                   

Dr. Adolph, in addition to being Pastor of Antioch, is the President of the Southeast Chapter of One Church One Child, a mentor in the "I Have A Dream" program, an active member of the NAACP, facilitator of the extension program of Interdenominational Theological Center - Morehouse School of Religion, a member of the National Baptist Convention of USA, a member of the Clergy in Schools program,  and the Baptist Ministerial Alliance.  He also serves as the board President of Jehovah Jireh Village Community Development Center, Inc.  Also, he is on the boards of the Metropolitan YMCA Region Y's, Some Other Place and the Southeast Texas Family Health and Resource Services.           
But most importantly, Dr. Adolph is a saved and born again believer.  He is a Spirit filled, Bible believing and a Resurrection Sharing believer in the Lord Jesus Christ!
